A couple months ago, I picked up a jar of Heinz relish…and forgot to read the label until I got home. Let’s just say it is still sitting in my cabinet. I probably should just throw it out. I feel funny when I donate food that I wouldn't eat. I thought that I would send a list of food additives to avoid for this Tip Tuesday message.
It is best to avoid:
1) Artificial Sweeteners
2) High Fructose Corn Syrup
3) Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
4) Trans Fat
5) Common Food Dyes
6) Sodium Sulfite
7) Sodium Nitrate/Sodium Nitrite
8) BHA and BHT
9) Sulfur Dioxide
10) Potassium Bromate
